As the date for Drupal 8 stable release is approaching, we’re excited to announce that Webikon has extended its training modules to include also Drupal 8 along with the existing Drupal 7.

Starting with the „8” release, Drupal has adopted the modern PHP concepts and standards, object-oriented programming, and the Symfony framework. While a lot of the Drupal concepts (Fields, Views, Entities, Nodes) continue to exist in Drupal 8, they are now implemented using object-oriented programming design patterns.

"Basics of Developing with Drupal 7" is an open training to be delivered in Bucharest during 21st and 22nd of April 2011, that will provide you with a solid basis for web application development using Drupal 7 CMS. After the first day of training, you will be able to build and customize a basic Drupal website. The second day will introduce you to advanced techniques for content and user interface building. This is an interactive training, as 60% of the training sessions are "hands-on" activities.

Build a Drupal site in just one day

Target: Site developers without Drupal experience. Wordpress, Joomla! or handmade HTML/CSS website users or administrators. Understanding Content Management Systems is helpful.
